Dear Owner/Resident,
I am writing to inform you of our intended use of the car park as a unit base for filming purposes on the following dates:
Tuesday 28/11/00
Wednesday 29/11/00
Wednesday 5/12/00

Renaissance Morality Ltd are currently in production of a new feature film called 'Morality Play' Part of which will be filmed at St. Mary's Church, Edlesborough.

When we are filming we rely heavily upon the cooperation of local residents and businesses. A film crew is a reasonably large logistical operation and in order to facilitate the filming we have cooperated with the Edlesborough Parish Council in obtaining the use of the car park on Pebblemoor opposite Edlesborough Autos.

We will be extending the size of the car park with a special temporary surface in order to provide additional parking, however we would be grateful to all residents and car owners if you could attempt to find alternative parking on these dates as available parking at this location will be extremely limited.

We apologise in advance for the inconvenience that this will cause you but hope that you will tolerate our presence over these few days.

The above is the contents of a letter, that was left on the windscreens of vehicles in the car park in Pebblemoor on 17/11/00. Our sources can confirm that the film is to be a Mediaeval Murder Mystery, Staring top American actor William Defoe. Watch this space!!

Edlesborough Church illuminated during nightime filming.
William Defoe was present when this picture was taken!!

We can confirm that the location crew are moving to Ashridge, on Friday 1st until Sunday, for further filming.
Once again it is to be nightime filming.
